MatBet review methodology: sources, criteria and scoring rules

Licence statusNOGA · Active•Sources · criteria · calculation

Our MatBet articles check the source, date and scope of each material fact. Scores use separate models for games, betting, payments and other areas. The site's publisher is matbetcasinos.com, separate from operator Vesaro Tech Ltd.

How we select evidence for conclusions

The evidence depends on the question: regulatory details are checked against the regulator's register, product terms against the operator's rules, and interface behavior against observations of a specific state.

Type of information Primary evidence Scope of application
Licence and holder Official regulator register Company, status, term and authorized domains in the entry
Bonuses and financial terms Published operator rules Specific promotion, transaction, account and applicable restrictions
Presence of a section or interface element Dated interface observation Site state, language and account at the time of observation
Transaction speed and outcome Measurement of a completed action Stated conditions, device, amount and period
Product comparison Comparable data and consistent benchmarks Same criterion and comparable scope

Register and operator statements

For MatBet licence details, we use the NOGA entry for Vesaro Tech Ltd. Readers can open the official NOGA register and find the company by name or licence number.

An operator's game-count claim is treated as a claim; an independent count or feature check requires separate work.

A promotion's cost is determined by its full terms, considering the offer amount, eligibility, duration and restrictions together.

Observation and completed testing

An observation shows a particular interface element or state. A completed test describes an action performed and its result, such as a payout received after a request.

Naming a test device or seeing a withdrawal button does not establish a transaction outcome, measured loading time, support response or processed transfer.

We publish precise results with the material test conditions so readers can distinguish actual transaction speed from a period promised by the operator.

Dates and geography limit where facts apply

Date and context determine which product state a fact describes. Interface observations from 26–27 September 2026 describe that period; they do not acquire a new date when a later page is published.

Saved page versions and dated observations help trace changes while preserving the original period of historical information, even after newer data appears.

The Russian and English site versions have an international language format. Russian-language text does not establish product availability in Russia, local legality or transactions in rubles.

Payment availability is checked separately for country, account and transaction. A method offered for deposits may not be offered for withdrawals; changing the page language does not alter this fact.

What Ahrefs is used for

Ahrefs helps identify search demand and assign topics to pages. Search volume does not verify a licence, payment availability, bonus amount or feature existence.

Search terms influence topic choice and wording; product claims are checked separately against documents, registers and observations.

When the 0 to 10 scale applies

The scale applies to a product or area with a suitable criteria model. Pages on login, contacts, the publisher and methodology receive no score of their own.

A registration score requires sufficient evidence about the complete account creation and management journey, including steps after the initial form.

Score range Value Basis for selection
0–2 Critical shortcoming Confirmed failure, missing essential protection or unusable outcome
3–4 Weak result Material underperformance on the relevant criterion
5–6 Acceptable result The main task works, but notable limits remain
7–8 Strong result Clear advantage without a material failure on the criterion
9–10 Exceptional result Convincingly verified top-tier outcome

A high score needs evidence for the upper range. Criteria are usually scored in 0,5 increments; an area's final score is rounded to one decimal place.

Within a range, mixed or barely sufficient outcomes score near the bottom, typical outcomes near the middle and consistently strong outcomes near the top. Moving to the next range requires corresponding evidence.

How facts become scores

Benchmark groups follow the purpose of each criterion: catalog breadth, burden of terms, speed and support quality answer different questions and use different scoring logic.

Criteria group What is compared What raises the score
Breadth and depth Games, providers, events, markets and payment methods Verified wide choice relative to the adopted benchmark
Cost and complexity Wagering, fees, checks and registration obstacles Lower burden on the user
Speed Loading, transaction processing and support response Fast completion under comparable conditions
Stability Errors, failures and successful completion of actions Reliable completion of tested tasks
Navigation Search, menus and finding the required feature A clear path to the result
Transparency Rules, limits, operator information and access Complete, clear and verifiable information
Availability Countries, platforms, features and login methods Practical access for the relevant audience
Protection Regulation, identity checks and safeguards Verifiable measures with a clear scope
Value Offer terms, restrictions and odds Favorable terms in a like-for-like comparison
User support Response accuracy, resolution and escalation A complete and useful support outcome

If a criterion fits several groups, its purpose decides the grouping. For example, clarity of installation instructions belongs to transparency, while successful installation concerns usability and access.

How comparison benchmarks are chosen

Actual comparable information on the same criterion takes priority. Speed comparisons require the same type of action; payment coverage comparisons account for method classes and availability scope.

Fixed internal benchmarks support scoring when comparison measurements are missing but do not change the main conclusion. A benchmark is never presented as a measured speed, fee or other brand fact.

Licences, legal entities and mandatory financial terms require factual evidence and cannot be replaced by calculated benchmarks.

Unknown values, absence and non-applicability

An unknown value does not automatically receive zero. Confirmed absence of a feature, an established shortcoming and a non-applicable criterion are treated separately.

An undisclosed material term affects transparency, but the undisclosed value itself is never replaced by an invented number.

A non-applicable criterion is not scored. A material contradiction that changes the page's main answer must be resolved before publication.

How an area's final score is calculated

The area score is the sum of criterion scores multiplied by their shares. In a full model, shares total 100%; the final result is rounded, not each intermediate product.

Formula: final score = sum (criterion score × its share).

In an illustrative example, criteria with 60% and 40% shares scored 7,0 and 5,0. Calculation: 7,0 × 0,60 + 5,0 × 0,40 = 6,2. This demonstrates arithmetic; it is not a MatBet score.

Shares of criteria with justified scores are normalized to the total weight used in the calculation; an unknown value stays outside the set of scored indicators.

How category scores are combined

The overall score draws on area results. Creating a separate category page is not a condition for calculation: evidence, rather than published text, is the basis.

Overall brand model

The overall model combines regulation, games, betting and core user services.

Area Base weight Role in the overall score
Licence and protection 20% Regulation and transparency
Casino and games 20% Catalog composition and usability
Sports betting 15% Events, markets and odds
Payments 15% Deposits and receiving funds
Bonuses 10% Offer value and limits
Mobile access 10% Use on mobile devices
Support 10% Getting help

Casino section model

The casino section score combines game categories and lobby navigation.

Component Base weight Role in section score
Slots 45% Core slots catalog
Live casino 30% Games with live dealers
Crash games 15% Crash formats
Lobby, navigation and search 10% Finding desired games

A category's contribution reflects both its base share and the amount of usable scoring evidence. The result is therefore not a simple average of published area scores.

An established category result is reused within the same data scope. Changing language does not change a score; a change in availability or material terms for a particular market may.

How information is updated and errors are corrected

Information is reviewed when rules, products or regulator records change, or after a confirmed error. A score changes when material scoring evidence changes.

The publication date marks a page's first release. An updated date records a substantive edit or renewed verification, not a cosmetic change to put a new year in the title.

To request a correction, contact the editorial team or email [email protected].

  1. Identify the page and the specific claim.
  2. Describe what changed or what is wrong.
  3. Add a verifiable document, source URL and date if relevant.

The publisher accepts questions about site content. The operator handles player account access, payouts and bonuses; our editorial team does not manage those transactions.
